range day

Went to range today with 17 mach 2 ,10 shot group at 100,one heck of a rifle.
I know there all rimmed but thats just how it worked out today.

45-70 32" scoped lee 405 hb with 14 grains unique
50-70 open sights lee 500 with 14 grains unique
45-120 scoped hornady 300 grain hp 80 grains i3031
All three were minute of clay pigeon and then the pieces at 100

The mach 2 definately shined today
handi rifles- 22 mag      22 hornet    223      7mm-08      308 chip shot     30-30 x2     30-06 shorty      358 cheez whiz     357 max     35 remington     375-08    410 rifled slug     454 casull     460 s&w     45 smokeless muzzleloader x2     45-70    50 huntsman    50-70 government shikari     20 ga.ush     12 ga.ush    12 ga.3 1/2     10 ga.imp.cyl. slug gun

Loading some up for that today,try it out tomorrow

Hope you didn't come home with your shoulder in a sling.  I figure one big bore per range day, and shoot that last.  I guess mine are 'small' big bore though... only got 45-70.  Like to hear shooting success stories, and see the tiny groups.

That Mach 2 threw a very nice group. It takes more than a good rifle to shoot a group of that size with a rimfire.
