H&R 158,30-30

Just picked up a new to me model 158,complete with a red recoil pad.At a local gunshow,I was able to buy it with the profit from a couple of sales. ::) .I put a Limbsaver recoil pad on it , it will be getting a scope later today.Doug

I picked one up from here on GBO I love it mines more blonde. I put a Burris fullfield fixed 6X on mine, but haven't had the oppertunity to shoot it very much yet. I think the blueing is supperior.

I had forgotten how well the '158's felt in the hands ;) .I put some mild lead loads downrange this afternoon and it is very mild mannered. ;D Thanks for all of the reply's. Doug

Congrats on the 158 Doug!  I wish H&R still made that barrel contour, they do carry better.  See you soon.  DP
