Hornady 243 85 gr. Interbond
« on: July 15, 2012, 02:03:19 PM »
Has anybody tried this bullet? I have a 243 that likes 85 grainers much better than 100 grain bullets and this looks like just the ticket for deer. MidwayUSA reviews indicate it to be a very finicky bullet.

I'd give the Sierra Gameking 85gr a good look. My brother swears by them in all of his 6mm bores. He's dropped feral hogs well over 500lbs with them.

That is good to know about the Gameking's performance on the hogs. They shoot very well in my son's 243. The Hornady Interbond caught my eye due to the high BC for their weight.

the Sierra GameKing BTHP is my go to bullet in my old Savage 111 .243!  Dead right there..had a son of a friend kill a big buck at almost 300 yds with one of my loads featuring that bullet.  Shooters Pro Shop has the 90 grain version of that bullet (blem) at a decent price.
