The newest version of Ruger's SR9?

  I have handled the newest version of the SR9 at a gun show and was very interested in it.  The newest ones have the improved "D" shaped magazine release and from what I hear a new trigger assembly that is like the SR9C.  I shot my friends SR9C and was amazed how accurate it was and a sweet trigger (for a striker fire that is).  I like a full size though.
  My question is,  (before I cough up the cash for the SR9) what is the reliability of it?  Accuracy?  Light primer strikes? Peening? For those who have the newest version of the SR9, what are your comments on it.  Yea or Nay?  You inputs would be really appreciated, especially those with high round counts etc.

I have one and have shot 1200 rounds through it since April.  The trigger has smoothed up, not that it was all that aweful to begin with.  The reliability is 100% thus far.  I load 124gr Gold Dots to 1225fps with a heavy dose of 231.  I carry 124gr RangerT +p.

I can conceal it as well as an SR9c.  I'm going to get a SR40 (with the stainless slide) because I like the SR9 so much.

I have the newest one. I only have about 200 rounds through it. I like mine a lot. I have only shot Winchester white box and Hornady critical duty in it so far but didn't have any problems with either of them.
 When I went to the range I had my brother-in-law with me, he is a shooter for Smith & Wesson. He couldn't believe how light the trigger pull was for right out of the box. I also live in MA where we have the 10lb triggers in almost all the guns here.
He seemed to like it and that's coming from a Smith&Wesson employee. Although he did say he doesn't know if he would get the SR9 over the M&P 9.
I don't think I would either if I got the employee discount on Smith guns like he does.

  Update:  I purchased the RUGER SR9 stainless (new version) and got a great price of $419.  I bought a cheapo box of 115gr orange and black box whatever it was, just to do a function check.  It was really accurate.  The ejection was very weak and I just attribute this to the cheapo ammo.  The main spring seems to be very strong for a 9mm.  I took it home to clean up. Some folks say that Ruger has a lot of preservative in a new gun.  Not the case with this.  It was bone dry.  Striker channel was clean and had no metal shavings or crud in it. 
  The next time out, I will shoot some 124 grain NATO, Aguila 124 grain as well as some defensive ammo plus P after that and will keep you posted.
  Has anyone had this peening problem or light strikes with the newest SR9 or has this been resolved?  Thanks.

I have about 600 rounds through mine now. I only had one stove pipe. I was using federal champion ammo when it happened. No light strikes. I did notice a little spot on top of the barrel has a very slight burr on it but it isn't getting any worse. It doesn't look anything close to the pics i saw with the barrel peening problem. it is in the same spot. I think its just normal wear on mine.
