Two more H&R revolvers
« on: June 23, 2012, 10:20:11 AM »
I purchased two more H&R revolvers today.  Both in mint condition.  A 923 6'' barrel 22cal the PO says its nickel but it looks like chrome plating and on the trigger there is no firing pin it has a cross / lever setup on the firing pin maybe they call it a transfer bar?  The other is a 622 in 22cal 6 shot with a 2 1/2'' barrel in the box/ She still looks like new.    Anythoughts about these two??
I don't see any of these too much around here.  This is the second time i seen them here.

lots of folks really talk down on these handguns, but they seem to last forever!
I have started collecting them myself.

Some of these really were beat up that i have looked at.  I look forward to firing them.  One of my first ones (922) had a cylinder timing problem but installing a new lock up lever solved it.
