got another one today
« on: June 30, 2012, 07:21:20 AM »
local pawn shop I go to all of the time (friends own it) had a .243 Handi, wood, youth model...so I traded a youth Rossi single shot in .243 and a Cricket .22 for it...straight up. That Rossi is ok, but cheap..and I paid 110.00 for that Cricket 5 years ago..daughter just didnt use it anymore. Wanted to stick with a youth because my wife was the one using the Rossi and shes short with short arms...daughter is almost 13 so its time for her to see if she cant take a deer too..  :)

The handi is in great shape..happy with the deal.

"Happy" is the key to the whole thing.  If all you guys are happy, that's all that matters.  Personally, I think any time you can get a Handi for a Rossi you're ahead of the game.  Good luck to you and the ladies.

Good deal, as long as your happy that's all that matters. The best of luck to your daughter this hunting season.
