8 gauge brass shell blanks?
« on: July 01, 2012, 01:33:08 AM »
Does anyone know of a source for 8 gauge brass shotgun shell blanks for use in a cannon?
The Winchester industrial shells won't work for me.
I know that Rocky Mountain Cartridge sells the hulls but I'm hoping to find a source that sells loaded blanks.

I've seen 10 and 12 for sale, but not 8 gauge. If you're going to be firing your salute gun a lot, the brass shells would be more economical in the long run, and they're a cinch to load.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.
