Belgium texas Ranger
« on: June 26, 2012, 09:54:27 AM »
I heard a pawn shop had a Colt Lightening for $200 bucks so i hustled over to discover it was a Belgium texas Ranger instead. The gun was junked up pretty bad and wouldn't function. the Shop salesman said he probably ought to lower the price to get this piece of junk out his display case and as I walk away he asked if $50 was too much to ask. Apparently he realized he'd made a mistake by the speed I said "I'll take it".

At this weekend's Gunshow I spotted a Belgium texas Ranger with a price tag of $400 and change. the seller was convinced he'd get every penny of that and maybe a first born son. Knowing the cost to raise a son i suggested he settled for the ridiculous $400 price and be happy he got out of the gun and made a profit.

Realistically, what's this old pistola going for?

Yes but they call it .38 Colt Special.
Finally spotted one on gunbroker for $270 plus.
Lord, but my wife will be shocked if I make money off a gun.
