Anyone finding any Morels yet? Things are blooming early this year around home. I haven't been out to look yet, but I'm sure the time is close, and maybe some have already had success.

I haven't looked yet and don't think they are finding anything up here in Wisconsin yet, but if this weather keeps up it won't be long. It may be a really messed up morel season.  I don't think I've ever found much on the 18th of April, much less March!  80 yesterday and 60's and 70's as far out as they predict. I just hope they don't get burned out too quickly.

I went out looking for Morels this morning and didn't find any. The signs are not there yet. No May apples yet, but the purple trillium, and blood root are starting to bud. I did However find the ramps are coming in nicely. They are still to small to harvest, about ¼" round bulbs. I'll check back on them next week.

Had a great crop last year in my secret place...my Moms yard, by an old apple stump.   This year, not a one, :-[
