I can imagine the bigshots suddenly realizing that after all the hoopla and advertising it was over in 15 secs with thousands of folks waiting for it to start again. Ya reckon they said OOOOOPPPPPSSSS ?? POWDERMAN.

I witnessed such a "BOOM" at Galveston once.
They used to do them of the "T" head at a hotel over the Gulf. When it went off, all at once, you could see workers going off the "T" head into the water about 30 feet below.
BTW---the "explosion" was great fun---no one complained and no one got hurt--even the jumpers were ok, just wet.

LITTLECANOE. Thanks, I enjoyed that. Lou puts on a big display before the KY derby every year that I enjoy on tv. It's from barges in the Ohio and a bridge crossing it. I always wondered what all that looks like to the fish?? And how long before they would bite again?? I do NOT like the music they play with it. When I see fireworks I want to HEAR them too, the sizzles, whistles, bangs, and big booms, not a variety of music. Oh well, thats just me. POWDERMAN.

 I call the end of the show "The grand finally" (as opposed to "finale"). Forget 15 seconds; I'd pay to see a show where all the mortars fire at once. That would be something.
