First Andy now Ernie, who's next.   Loved McHale's Navy.   Played a lot of good heavies in his early carrier as well.

Too bad. Now all the main actors from my favorite movie of all time are dead. The movie is the Wild Bunch. William Holden.Robert Ryan,Warren Oates.Ben Johnson and now Ernest Borgnine.Dang time is slipping away quickly.

There's quite a bit about him on youtube, including the pilot movie for McHales Navy, and some episodes of that show. I liked that program as a kid because it was particularly well done: well acted, inventively written, funny, and good chemistry among the actors.
