An 80 year old lady moved dwn the rd last fall. She told my wife that she was getting a fan from community action last week. I had Patty call and they never got one for her. We took her the 1 we circulate air to the kitchen with, no doubt it was over 90+ deg in her trailor. We have air in the bdr and we use fans to carry it through the house. It was still 106 deg here at 7 pm. Check on your neighbors guys, it only takes a min or two, might even save a life. POWDERMAN.

Good public service reminder Powderman.   Cooled down a little here today,  officially topped out at 99⁰.   Temp's had reached as high as 104⁰ earlier in the week.

I hope I live long enough to be one of those ''elderly neighbors''. I'll be 57 in a week. After my hip replacement in 2 weeks, I plan on taking up ball room dancing!! gypsyman

I'm in the same boat as Graybeard. I'm the geezer in the community. Fortunately I'm still able to take care of myself and the wife with no problems. Although the wife has some health problems I have very few. I give thanks for that regularly.

At the family reunion my cousin said, remember how we  used to come here and visit with the old folks?? Now we ARE the old folks. She was right. POWDERMAN.
