Thinking about the 25 cal 120 grain Deep Curl. Was checking to see if anyone has used it. BC looks good. Comments ? Opinions welcome.

I know this isn't exactly what you are looking for, but at least it's a Deep Curl bullet test.

Tap tap,,,,,,,, ok for those of you that have not tried these they are worth a look. Loaded a few for a prelim shoot and was pleasantly surprised. 3 in less than an inch with the 2nd powder charge, another 3 in less than an inch with the third powder charge.Loaded a follow up tonight. These  are flatbase bullets with a flat hollow base(sort of). If the bullets do as well on deer as they do on paper they should be very good. So any of you that have the opportunity to give the Deep Curls a try I dont think you will be disappointed. I am ususally a fan of Sierra Bullets but these are looking good right now.

Thanks for the report, indeed!  I bought a box of Deep Curls for my 308 recently, but haven't loaded any up yet.  Hope they shoot as well for me!

Verdict is in on this bullet. I like em. Seems to like my rifle. Everything I've loaded for this bullet is landing in an inch or slightly under. Not bad for an old Ruger 77ST.

I have a couple boxes of 45cal. I'll be trying in my 50cal muzzle loader.

Thought Deep Curl was the new name for the "old" Trophy Bonded Bear Claw.

From what I've gathered Deep Curls are Gold Dot bullets renamed and bonded atleast in handgun calibers. Not sure though.
