Pedersoli kentucky rifle
« on: July 11, 2012, 08:25:15 AM »
I have an opportunity to buy a lightly used pedersoli kentucky rifle. It comes with both a flintlock and percussion lock has about 50 rounds through it, and he's only asking 350.00 for it. Anyone here have one or know if they are descent rifles?  think it's worth 350.00?

Oh it's worth 350, if in good condition.
Not sure how two locks are going to help ya, it's either one or the other, they didn't come from the factory with a switch out capability.
Both are prone to ignition problems but it's just a nuance thing that needs to be learned

That's a real good price. I have one in .32 caliber and sure wouldn't sell it for that.

It's an especially good deal with the two locks. I have both locks for mine (percussion & flint). It's a simple matter to switch the gun from percussion to flint by changing the lock and replacing the drum & nipple with a touch hole liner. I shoot it in flintlock mode most of the time, especially on the range and when plinking, and sometimes switch it to caplock for squirrel hunting. Both of my locks are very reliable.

If you don't buy it, please PM me with the seller's contact info.
