I read about this bill in my latest American Hunter magazine, they are fighting it, mostly at the senate and house level.  They can't get through the Obama administration.  At the very least it means we can't buy foreign made shotguns, pistols, rifles etc, especially curio and relic WWII guns.  The senate has to ratify any treaty made by the president, hopefully there is enough senators who would vote against this.  If it does pass, say so long to Benelli, Beretta, Fabrique National, Springfield, Glock, Mauser, Brownings, some Remingtons, some Winchesters, and any other weapon made overseas and shipped to the US.  Bill would eliminate small arms trades between countries.  Of course, this eliminates democratic rebellions people in foreign countries have to get rid of tyrants sometimes.  UN want's world stability and world control.

Whuh !?!   :o :o :o
I haven't followed it at all, but assumed there'd be something like this during the Obama presidency. Very crafty to make it as little of an issue as possible, keep it quiet, and then just do it.

Contact your senator.  It has to be ratified in the senate to become effective.

Unless of course our "king" just declares it so by excecutive order.

The only reason our 3 part system of government worked for over 200 years was respect for the system.  The Executive portion has become too powerful because the Legislative portion gave power to the executive starting in the 1930's allowing executive orders.  The Judicial portion started becoming political in the 1930's again with FDR stacking the SC with his people instead of the most qualified judges who are not supposed to be party affiliated.

I think SC judges should only serve a 9 year term with a new judge appointed every year, that way the court would be changed more often and less political.

Executive order privilage should be taken away from the president, and taken back by the Legislature.
