Weight of Walnut vs. Composite stock
« on: July 11, 2012, 07:58:30 AM »
I am looking to see the weight difference between a walnut and composite stock for a G2 Contender.  I was wondering if there was much of a weight difference between the 2, or if someone knew the exact weight of each that has both.  Your help is appreciated.

I don't have a walnut set but I weighed my composite buttstock and carbine forend:
13 oz. for the buttstock and 7 oz. for the forend.  Maybe someone can weigh their walnut set for comparison.
