I took the pistol to the range after letting it sit too long in the safe. The first shot went off OK but the empty case was stuck in the action. In clearing the empty, I noticed that the slide will only come back about halfway. I took the grips off and can see nothing wrong, everything else seems to work fine. I started to chamber another round to see what would happen, but thought it might be better to hold off. I don't know how to take the gun apart without the slide being all the way back. Is there anything anyone can think of that I could try, or is it time to send the gun to more capable hands?
