remington 700 action and recoil lug
« on: July 18, 2012, 02:21:59 PM »
Hope this forum is the best place to ask this question. I have a new remington SA with 308 boltface that I think I'm going to sell or trade FTF and looking for a value.
Thanks

Might depend a little on where FTF is but, that said a brand new  243 SPS can be had at WallyLand for 395 + tax

I think SA is stainless action and FTF no clue on that.  What did you buy it for and what would you like in trade.

This was my Father-n-Laws and I got it when he passed. The box it was shipped in is postmarked is 2001 from Forster Products, so my guess it's at less 11 years old. It's a blued, short action, I've got a 35 year old 243 BDL and the action looks the same to me. I live in central VA, I'm willing to ship, but never having bought or sold a firearm online I'm not sure the steps needed. Also I want to make sure the buyer is get what he wants too.
I had thought I would build  a rifle on it but I really don't rifle hunt and I don't want a safe queen or need another range toy.
Thanks for the help.
Frank
