there was two glaring mistakes in his post.  it may give you 50% off on name brand drugs, but that's more than double the cost of generics.  I know because I use a lot of heart meds
and there at the bottom, who is going to decide the quality of care given by the doctor and subsequently how much he's paid.
how many potential doctors are going to decide on a career in law or something because the IRS is going to decide their pay.

Medicare was designed primarily for retired people and therefore no access to an employer sponsored plan.
 
Medicare is socialized medicine. Medicare is not accepted by many doctors. Access is limited and the same will no extrapolate into the rest of the system thanks to the obamacare unfolding nightmare. Essentially, we are making the entire system a place that doctors will not want to participate and we are going to thrust 40 million people into this system.
 
Costs will go up, quality will go down and we just handed a new political football entitlement program over to the politicians.
