Which Marbe Arms Tang base and post?
« on: May 21, 2012, 04:45:44 PM »
I have a Henry H001T Frontier Octagonal barrel .22.

Marbles says this when I asked

THIS IS FOR A STD TANG SIGHT WHICH WILL GET YOU FROM 0 TO 200-250 YDS. PART # 009848 SCREW SET # 995006 REAR SIGHT IS A # 69WH FRONT SIGHT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE OUT, BUT IF YOU DO WANT TO, IT'S A 45W.   I have read reviews on the Marble's for Henrys and one said Marbles had the incorrect sight for the rifle and he sent it back and got the right one.   Does anyone here actually know which are the correct parts?

Both Marbles and Midway show the part numbers you list as for the H001T for the STANDARD tang sight. The part numbers are different for the IMPROVED tang sight (different uprights available.).  I have the part numbers you list on order for my H001Y.  Hope this helps a little.

Blaze-

Thanks. I got a detailed answer from Marbles to my detailed questions. I also asked for height of front sight suggested and the answer was that the existing factory front was fine for the tang peep sight. Henry uses Marbles front sight so I would guess they know what they are talking about.
