410/45 colt

Any chance the 410/45 can be bored out to take the 454 casull or is the reciever to weak

Not only is the 454 beyond the capabilities of the frame, the barrel mild steel isn't up to it either.

It still could... You just need to get yourself a SB2 frame and a 45Colt barrel and ream it!!

I have a 454 built this way as do a number of guys here. its a great, compact, LWT, powerhouse!

The 45LC barrel certainly can be. What fun in 45LC with 185 gr cast SWC over Trail Boss and what a devastator in 454 over H110 with 300 gr XTPs

Also you can ream the 45 Colt to 460 Magnum and shoot 45 colt, 454, 45 Schofield, or 460

my avatar pic is my 1960 Rambler I bought in 1972 for $175..6 banger 3-on-the-tree...drove it for 5 yrs  22mpg.. was "hot-rodding" (LOL) one night...tore out 1st/reverse gear. Drove it that way for 2 yrs(with no reverse and only 2nd and high)  Had to really plan ahead when parking.
