I have a Rimington Rolling Block #1 receiver and a 34" new Green Mountain barrel.. I wish to get it blued, a few companies said they do not do black powder guns.  (WHY?)   Anyone know a bluing company who will?    I tryed with that cold blue, will it's no good.   Thanks for your time.    beng

Some rolling block actions had a lot of nickel in them and wouldn't blue very well. The few Remington made ones I have tried worked just fine. If you want them to look nice they usually take a lot of polishing and handwork first, this may be why no one wants to do it. Hard to say. Otherwise I don't see it being any problem.
