Thats probably why my state, (Ga.) requires all weapons to be in a holster.  Dropping one in a pocket along with something else is a recipe for disaster anyway.

HOLY COW! That's MY Wal-mart, on Forest Ln near Abrams Rd. I'm in that store at least twice a week. I was under the impression they sold beer and wine in that store and concealed carry wasn't even allowed. I could be wrong, have to pay more attention. It's a nice store but the "unsavory" neighborhood is just a couple blocks away. Can't walk through the parking lot without getting hit up for some "spare change." Now, I've got to be alert for idiots carryin' guns in their pockets. Ain't the same neighborhood I grew up in.

I hope he gets hit with Felony Evasion (since there was a shooting and victims) and loses his right to own firearms!
We don't need people like that "on our side".  If he panics and runs after the fact, imagine how he might react in a questionable situation when drawing his firearm might come into play.
The problem with troubleshooting is....sometimes it shoots back!

Duke0313,  I do not know and will not pretend to know Tx law, but Ky law says no CC if the place sells alcohol to be consumed on the premesis.  Package stores, are legal to carry into, but bars are not.  Might want to re-check your statutes.

As for the dweebus maximus in the news report  I hope his permit is revoked!!  That level of dis-regard for safety (his and the general public) is inexcusable

Keith44, you are correct, sir! I learned something today. Guess I just assumed because every beer/liquor store I've been to here in town has a big sign out front saying no firearms allowed.
