Mystery Skinner . . . . . . .
« on: August 03, 2012, 01:50:44 PM »
It is a mystery to me. I got this at a Knife & Gun show in '89. The seller was the maker [i think]. Flashy little blade.

At the time I was told it is ivory, it looks like the real thing. I have never tested it, and won't.

Are any of our GBO brothers familiar with this maker? The signature is rendered fairly closely but I still can't make it out. I believe the seller[maker?] told me he was from here in the northwest. Twenty years have made this transaction foggy. I would be interested if anyone may have an opinion of it's value? I'm just curious. it is not for sale. All information, opinion, assesment, is very welcome.

                Thanks,   P.A.   [/i]

a feller i worked with about 15 years ago
had one almost exactly like that, except
it had a laminated wood handle.

it didn't have any maker's markings or
signature

could that be a pre-fab blade from
someplace?

it is a good looker by the way. . .
