I'd take it.

Turned out not to have the box & papers, but I dont shoot those anyway..........
Pretty nice and crisp for a 1975 production gun in bright blue; like many of these it wasnt shot much at all, my guess is maybe a box of cartridges through it and a box of new WW factory load came with it (yes, 'came', as in it came home with me  ;) ).
Now........where are those dies, brass and the old 429421 mould..........

Finally had a chance to dig out my stuff for it and throw together a trial load. Some commercial cast 225gr PB over the Hodgdon site Trail Boss load (for a 240gr. cast) of 6.0gr. in Mag cases, std. primers are rated at 828fps and with the rear sight screwed all the way down it is hitting just above the front blade, offhand with one at 50 yds. So much for load development  ;) ;D .
It be a shooter, fer sure and fer certain.

I think you great deal!  Congratulations!!!
Somehow three SBHs ended up in the safe...my wife's (an '85 shooter), a transitional & an old three-screw.

I like them best with Hogue rubber stocks.  Factory stocks are nice, we got em stashed because the darn SBH can make you hurt with warm hunting loads.

Ouch!

Guess I lucked out, friend Tommy that I got it from just died last week and 'somebody' just cleaned the house of all his guns......... ??? .
It is proving most satisfactory, though a monster. I enjoy lighter than Mag loads so with the rear sight all the way down I tend to find a load that shoots to the sights. The nice thing is that I wont break it with the loads I shoot and can load 'er up if I get the notion (unlike the affordable Italian Colt's clones).
I do not want to wear this on a belt holster so Im thinking of making a bandolier with a snap, squared off lower that I can hang a regular belt holster from, rather than buying a new dedicated rig. Im actually surprised I dont see such a thing available; if anybody knows of such a thing, let me know!

Here you go...I have handled these in person and they seem to be exactly what your are looking for. They are not a straight belt...they are cut to actually fit your body. They will snap onto any hip holster.  http://www.montanaholster.com/shoulder-belts/

I carry my  44mag 7 1/2" SBH in a 7X Leather chest holster...I love it! Very comfortable and available when I need it. I have carried it many miles with a backpack.  I seem to be able to shoot my 7.5 SBH better than any other gun. I have even slept in this rig.
