Whats the best recipie

for hair on tanning a hide?  Also looking for something easy to prepare being an amature at this?  Any advice appreciated?

If you know a taxidermist, I would ask them how they do it.   I know Tandy carries kits.  I would imagine they would be fairly easy, all things considered.  There are several web resources out there for traditional tanning, they are not easy.  I tried a brain tanning method, not easy.  I didn't get it to work.
