I remember when I was a kid, living on a farm in rural WV, when I only got one channel (NBC) on TV, that I was totally infected with the magic of California. From the old western re-runs like The Big Valley and the like, that place just sounded amazing. It seemed like a place of full of adventure and beautiful movie stars. I recall at the time feeling like Luke Skywalker when he said, 'If there is a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet it's farthest from.'

Well those magical days are long gone. I lost all allure for that state years ago when I became older and a little wiser and learned how sickening their liberal laws were becoming. Nowadays, that rural farm, where my folks still live and raise cattle and horses seems like the magical place. It's a place where Dad and I can go shoot, burn brush, walk the fields and woods. It's great.

California is lost. I would almost say irrevocably, but you never know. To any Californian reading this, all I can say is vote carefully. You are very, very close to the same miserable existence they have in Mexico, England, etc. Once CA bans all your weapons, you will be in the same boat at Juarez, where those poor folks are disallowed firearms to protect themselves. Look at their quality of life.
