got my 2 kids through college and law school, the house is almost paid for, the cars are paid for, have 21 guns and may be in the market for just 1 or 2 or 3 or 5 or 10 more..............

The guns that I have bought for a long time are for my kids needs. They are grown but thier budgets don't have room for firearms. Most with home defense as much as shooting sports in mind.  I buy them and set them up and get them to my kids. ear

I've got all the guns on my "need to have" list (deer rifle, .22lr, and shotgun).  The ones on my "want to have" list can wait until I have funds and bills paid off.

When the American people voted obummer in to office, i stopped buying any thing have been stashing my money away, we my wife and me need a few things but refuse to buy anything while obummen is in office, if he is some how voted out in Nov. then we will go on a shopping spree we need close, carpeting, house painted, and a new car will not buy American auto they already got a ton of our bail out money.

Sold most of my guns so I could pay for my new passion  Archery  and to fix up my CJ7  only kept the realy old stuff and old military col;lection

 I'm doing my best not to buy any more guns, but even worse is when I sell one.


 I know that within a week after the sale I'll be calling the plumber or taking the car into the shop and the bill will be about equal to what I sold the gun for.  :'(


 I've found that it's more cost-effective just to keep them.

I have somewhat of a gun wanting disease. I have all the guns I need, and I don't buy all that I want, because if I did I would be broke. When I do have the money I buy one of the I want guns next on the list. The problem is there is always another one I want. It never seems to end.

DDZ  It took me 75 years and a lot of med's but I'm cured no more wanted or needed and the ones i have left I'm going to give away at the next church social.

I figure the older I get the want will wane. I guess it has started to lesson somewhat, compared to what the want used to be. Mrcooper, just hang on to that shotgun for home defense.

i have sold most the ones i don't shoot have up graded some .but right now i see nothing i more i have to feed. if obama gets in i see big changes i hope we don't end up being like other countries. ???

I've been doing good since this thread started. I've only bought five since my first post to this thread. I think I've become a gun collector cuz no more than I shoot these days I'm sure not a shooter or much of a hunter. I don't think I hunted at all last season.

The only way for me to avoid buying guns is to not go to a store that sells them.
