RIP Neil. I well remember the moon landings. Sitting on the edge of my seat anxiously watching as the camera panned around. I wasn't looking for little grn men but was kinda hoping to see something moving. POWDERMAN.  :o :o
Mr. Charles Glenn “Charlie” Nelson, age 73, of Payneville, KY passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his residence. RIP Charlie, we'll will all miss you. GB

I was about 5 lying on the living room floor watching it go down on a black and white TV. Fell asleep and could not be woke up. I was simply taken with all thing Astronaut my entire chilhood.

American Hero doesn't quite seem a grand enough description for what he and his kind meant to me. I think I have something in my eye here.

All those folks that go into space are a rare breed. The tiniest air leak can end you quickly. Not to mention stapping yourself to 100,000 lbs of explosive built by the lowest bidder.

I watched Neil walk on the moon as a kid, it takes alot of courage to step foot some place no man has ever been.

Like the space program or not, it was a heck of an accomplishment for Armstrong and the whole team of,people that made it happen.
