Actually in Sharon, PA right now.   :-\   We were in Cleveland, OH last night at my sister-in-law's ex-husbands house in Shaker Heights.
The most interesting thing that happened was a deer standing in one his neighbor's yard.  That thing was HUGE!!!   :o   A doe and I swear it was bigger then any buck I've killed on the farm in south Jawja.
Oh well, I gotta build up my strength for tonight's festivities...   ::)   So I'm headed to the bar!   ;D

The deer do get bigger up north, but that buck is just a flat out freak of nature... Holy Cow!

That deer was killed in MN.  http://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/big-buck-zone/2010/01/biggest-buck-ever  And the dnr legalized 22 cal centerfire rifles for deer hunting up here :o :o :o

Richard.  You ain't 'Up North' until you get above the 45 parellel!  and that deer you saw just looks big because you go all them 'baby' deer down thar in the south.  Heck, I've owned Labrador retreivers as big a some of those southern deer.  But I'm just picking on you, not knocking your deer.  Huntin' is huntin!  It don't matter if the game is deer or squirrels.  I love deer hunting no matter where you go to do it!  44 Man

Yall all in da south.  Anythang south of Canada is southern.  Yet anythang north of Tennessee is yankee land.  There's more southern country boys living in Alaska than around Nashville.  We can survive, we already proved it with every winter we been here.  Long handles, fatboy pants, parkies, and bunny boots, we're set for another winter of 55 to 70 below.  We run around in shirt sleeves at zero.
