Savage / stevens 340,325 bolt gun w/ spitzer bullets

well i have 160 ftx and 125 grain sierra pro hunter spitzers was going to go with the 125 and h4895 and leverevolution with the 160. Anyone want to give me results what they have found when loading these guns with sp bullets. Thanks

I had a model 340 years ago and did load spitzer bullets in it. I had to shorten the case necks to be able to seat the 110 gr. Hornady spire points without the neck of the case going forward of the ogive. That said they shot just fine and killed deer very well. My velocity was around 2400 fps.
