What is a good price for a used 460?
« on: October 16, 2012, 01:38:28 PM »
I am in the market for a large frame revolver.  I held a 460 today in the local gun shop and fell in love.  The price on this used gun was $999.  Is this a good price? What is?

Performance center guns will sell for around $1,000. the others for around $800.00.

I am not sure what it tells us for sure but there are large quantitys of 500s used
I assume that will keep the price a bit higher
but I see much fewer 460s I bought one this summer used I liked the fact you had ammo choices

I saw 2 460s at a gunshow in Montgomery, Al a month ago, with scopes, selling for $+/- 800. Would have jumped but didn't have money #1 and have 3 bolt action pistols already, one a 7mm-08. The 22-250 took a nice 8pt in Jan after Katrina on an AL hunt that went less than 50 yds.
