It's About Time

 Another wave of 90's this week.But it won't be long now.
 Early goose opens this next weekend,plus the dove season.I never have shot a dove,MN.is not exactly the dove capital of th U.S.. But we have more Canada Geese than most.
 Time to break out the decoys, the call and the boat.

Boggy what the h#ll you need a boat for ????   I see so many geese in the fields  i cant tell what the field was originally planted for!!     The canadian geese are getting like snow geese or  like black birds....  One could make when heck of a  gumbo with all those geese...... boya!

No differant than hunting from a boat.  You decoy them in and when they set their wings  over the dekes, Boom!.   I just cover with corn stalks and  wait, not  outboard motor or waders to worry about.... tis each his own....

Always had a fascination with water--at 2 my grandmother would give me a bucket to fish in. So it has carried over into my waterfowl hunting.

 That part is also true ,Lee. I get to see some things beaver and rats do,that usually aren't seen by many others.
 Otters reactions to decoys is also very entertaining.

I haven't even gotten my federal duck stamp yet. My brother inlaw and his son pounded the geese both Saturday and Sunday.
