.17 HMR Handi's hard to find?
« on: September 02, 2012, 04:38:09 PM »
I had to special order one since I couldn't find one in the Dallas area. Went by the dealer and he was antsy that none of his distributors had one. So, I cancelled the order and told him to get one when they available since he's got a guaranteed sale for it. I'm tempted to go by WalMart to special order one through them even.

Anyone else noting a shortage of the .17 HMR Handi's?

I've ordered several H&Rs from Wal-Mart.  They are there in two days here in Alaska.  I ordered a Rossi with three barrels for my grandkids and Wal-mart had it two days later, same with my .460 Smith.

Sportsman's has them in stock, they usually keep two in the back.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Walmart's supplier SSI shows none in stock, just like everyone else I checked.  :-\

early summer. forgot to mention my dealer is a mom & pop business and i pay his cost. still he had no trouble finding a pair. big wholsesalers will pay less,so that gives you an idea as to their mark up. the 22 and 22 mags are slightly cheaper.
