Hey there SV...How much is that UV 22Mag going to run you?  That was another gun that I wa thinking of investing in but I wasn't sure the price tag was.  If I buy that gun then I was thinking of picking up a 17HMR barrel through the barrel accessory program...That way I can have the 17HMR and the laminate stock/forearm.

whitetailer,

If you can find one it should run between $149 - $169 range. Depends on the dealer, hopefully H&R will start getting more of these out. With all the new stuff they have for 2004 I wouldn't count on it though. Buffalo Classics are still a pain to find as well as a few other models. Good luck! ~~ SV

Waited 6 months huh?  I tried to find one of them back in Nov. my FFL buddy was told by his supplier it would be early spring before there would be any available. I ended up buying a 597 Remington LS HB 22 mag. I kinda wish I'd waited the 6 months.......especially after seeing the cost you guys are getting the UV 22 mag for.
But I'm still gonna get my single shot......ordered a 243 UV last week,,should be in this week,, so I should be set for varmints near an far!

I had always heard that the Buffalo Classic was hard to find, but when I was at my local dealer looking at a 7mm-08 Handi, he said he had just sold a BC a week ago. I asked him about availability of the BC, and he said no problem. I ordered one for $299.00, and a week and a half later I picked it up. Maybe the supply is finally catching up with demand.
