why is everyone so worried?  we have the constitution don't we?
after people vote for hussein and others that say they're not voting at all, we could very well end up with a very liberal SCOTUS and your freedom will be gone.

someone tell me again, what is the purpose of the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES??

it does not protect any individual right that I can see.

What I am pointing out is that when it started appearing that Obama was probably going to win the last election many gun owner went into hysterics, foaming at the mouth, wailing over the thought that Obama would somehow for some reason want to and the most important part be able to stop gun and ammo sales if not take our guns away. Due to this line of thought many started buying all the guns, ammo and reloading supplies that they could afford. This in turn caused shortages and drove prices way up. Well we are almost at the end of Obama's first term and we actually have more gun rights than before he took office. Now the new wailing is that Obama is just waiting for his second term to do all this. Same old record being played IMHO. So now the new hysteria is going to cause another buying frenzy causing shortages and raising prices over what may be nothing once again. Time will tell all.

you can bet that he won't try get a gun control law passed in the house.  so it will be some kind of illegal end-around, and he will get away with it.
armed revolution is the only answer to a lame-duck hussein.

In a twisted way, I guess I should be so very grateful to Bubba Clinton, because I was inspired by his election to assemble my collection.  Considering what has happened to prices over the years, he saved me a lot of money as well.

I will just add that if you are at all careful and use a bit of knowledge probably firearms and farmland have been two of the better investments over the last decade one can make.

The sad part is Romney has a worse record than obama on guns. Gun owners are screwed either way.

Absolutely true.

Obama is certainly not a friend to gun owners but the fact is Mitt Obamney did more damage to the 2nd Amendment as governor of Mass than Obama has as president. Obama actually signed one piece of pro-gun legislation (carry in National Parks) and Obama also received a failing grade from our gun control enemy (Brady Campaign).

I agree, we're screwed either way. Just because Mitt Obamney joined the NRA right before running for president does not make him a friend to gun owners. Look at his voting record rather than what he says.
"Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves."

Romney was the Governor of Taxachusetts--a liberal haven if there ever was one.  If he had anything to do with keeping guns out of their hands, it was probably an act of profound kindness--to the guns.

Who needs a political reason? My gun buying is guided by the same principles it always has. I see it, I like it, I can afford it, I buy it!  ;D I recently aquired a .380, a .357 mag and am now looking for a deal on a T/C Contender or Encore in a .44 mag. :) When the gun cabinet is full......it's time to buy another cabinet! ;)

In  a life time of pro-gun advocacy and activism, I have found two things that really turn around people on guns:

1.  Take them shooting and show them how much fun  shooting is and how nice shooters are,  and,

2.   People are confronted with a life threatening situation such as a riot, looting, or a personal attack on them.  When they feel the heat, they see the light...so to speak.

I think this most recent spike in gun sales is an example of No. 2 above:  People feel a sense of foreboding and feel threatened.

Who told you that?  The only possible reason for that is that Obummer has only voted present!

Another Democrat brainstorm to make your guns too expensive to own OR operate..  If you read down, the plan calls for turning in all ammo and bullets you presently own to be turned in to Big Brother ..
  http://voices.yahoo.com/serial-numbers-bullets-plan-ban-guns-2505697.html

  Not just bullets, but firing pins also;
  http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/jun/21/backdoor-gun-ban/

If Obama gets re-elected, obviously he will not likely try to overturn the 2nd amendment (too difficult)  but he will likely try to "create a crisis" to restrict or make firearms ownership prohibitively expensive.
He has already tried with "Fast & Furious".  The obama supporters caused a crisis alright, but they got caught in their lies.

BTW: Where are the usual conspiracy kooks on this conspiracy? ..Lots of red meat in that one!
