NEF Survivor 20ga/223
« on: September 21, 2012, 12:39:10 PM »
Got a chance to pick up a spotless Survivor 20 ga for about $100 so will get it next week. I have a 20" light barrel 223 with a shortened stock that I would like to put the Survivor butt and fore stock on. Will it fit ok?
Any problems it might create ie balance, etc?
Thanks

What Doc said, the 223 requires and SB2 rifle frame, an SB1 shotgun frame isn't suitable for it.

ALL H&R stocks will fit all of their single shot firearms with the exception of 10ga and 12ga USH shotgun forends.

The easy (and safe) way to end up with what you are wanting would be to buy the rifle, fit the stocks and shotgun barrel to the rifle (SB2) frame.
