Catfish, many of those barrels are lothar walthers believe it or not. Webley outsourced them when they moved from the U.K. to turkey and so long as you can feel the muzzle is choked when you push a patch through from breech to muzzle you got one. They are EXTREMELY accurate and although mine shoots jsb 8.3gr better than anything else, they shoots a variety of pellets well. I will go so far as to say that both guns are/were as or more accurate than most any breakbarrel i've ever fired and theres been many dozens. I'd put money on the scope as being the culprit although you may expect some erratic shooting for the first few hundred shots if the rifle is breaking in. Since you have to use springer rated scopes on these guns, i've found the leapers and centerpoint scopes to do well at a fair price(4x tactical UTG 35.00) but I prefer the lighter weight and better glass offered by Hawke scopes. My Hawke sport 3x9x40 AO HD is about 100 bucks but is the perfect scope on my longbow. Hope this is of some help,. Jeff
