Here is a picture of my 28 gauge that I grew up hunting with. It was me and my brothers first gun. Shot a ton of squirrels with it and a few grouse, rabbits etc. I was wondering the model number and the date it was made etc. how do you tell what model it is? I don't have the serial number handy right now but I will look it up tonight when i get home. I think it is in the 20000 range. Thanks.

That is one sweet looking old shotgun. looks like it could be a 1915 made between 1915-1942 mostly because of the butt stock. It could also be aModel 1908 standard frame but it don;t look likley to be a heavybreech 1908 frame, serial yr of manufacture should figure it out Kurt

The serial number is A339xxx. I did t think it had a prefix when I first looked it up in the serial number look up. Looks to be 1940?
