This is truly an unbelievable, one-of-a-kind deluxe double rifle that was clearly designed, hand built and assembled by a group of master machinists, engravers, stock makers and gun finishers from the Connecticut Shotgun Mfg. company. To fully appreciate and understand the beauty and masterful manufacturing of this rifle you have to actually see and hold this rifle in person. This rifle was produced in a diminutive or youth size that is actually 100% functional and ready to use. It appears to be designed on a scaled down version of an original Winchester Model 21 type shotgun that was factory built as a double rifle. There is an unbelievable amount of master level custom engraving and gold inlaid embellishment in such a small area. The complete receiver, upper and lower tangs, recoil shield, trigger guard, break lever, all have 100% of a finely detailed masterfully relief engraved floral vine engraving with a squirrel on a log looking at the frog on the left side, two rabbits running in a field scene on the right, a rat standing on a banner on each side engraved "ANSLEY H. FOX". The bottom of the action has a gold inlaid squirrel on a tree branch retrieving gold inlaid acorns. The action, break lever and upper tang as well as the squirrel on the bottom are bordered with a gold inlaid wire. The trigger guard has a gold inlaid prairie dog in a farm scene with gold inlaid wire border. The long lower tang has the same floral vine engraving with gold inlaid wire border and gold "R007" in a banner.
