As of 6/24/12 what is the status of H&R Muzzleloaders? Are they now being made or not?

That's how I got mine. Shoots well enough for big game and is great fun shooting steels.

Had some trouble at first, needed to:

1. ditch the orange primer carrier.
2. find a good sabot.
3. stop using stick powder and just use FF and FFF.

Now I'm very happy. Can hit a 12" steel at 100 yards standing freehand 100% of the time, actually doesn't take much effort. Will have to test again on a 6" steel. If I'm 100% there it'll do above and beyond everything I could want it to.

Was worth the $150. Just needs a camo laminate MZ foreend and butt stock and she'll be a beauty.

Only issue now is it shoots too low for 100 yard shooting. About 4" low, so I have to put the front bead ON the target. Is also fixable.
