One piece scope base for savage 110 SA
« on: February 11, 2013, 02:55:31 PM »
I have a Savage 110 in .243 I bought new in 1999 I believe.  I have a few scopes to put on it but the distance between rings is too great, with the two piece base, to get accurate adjustment.  Any recommedations?

I have had the same problem with my 110/116 LA guns. Warne's one piece base solved the problem.

I bought a Stevens 200 30-06 with long action. It came with a cheap scope (replaced) but I used the mounts and replaced the rings. The rear mount goes over the ejection port. The front one is standard. You can get the same effect by using off set rings. Or you can use a one piece Weaver type mount, that has cross grooves cut in above the ejection port.
