I decided to run out and check the camera this morning, and low and behold somebody has a new gamespy trail camera.  They tried to cut through the lock cable, when that didn't work they cut the plastic loop off the camera.  This all happened on private land as well.  So if anyone hears anything about a stolen trail cam from the Grand Meadow area let me know...

Sorry to hear about the camera.  A couple of years ago someone trashed mine by smashing it.  Too bad the batteries died before the incident because the card was still good.  Mine was on private land also.  SE MN has some serious Tresspass issues.  Do you have a lot of tresspass issues where you are at?

It's too bad we have to be concerned about the theft of our trail cams on private land.  :-[

You would have to admit it was yours first, and they would have to admit they were stealing.... ;D

I think those die bombs would work great especially if you added some scent so the coyotes could find the perpetrator after they grabbed the camera ;D

Great idea Ben!  Keep at it ;)
