The best two way radio @ Cabelas?
« on: September 26, 2012, 06:49:05 PM »
Ok  I need to use some point at Cabelas.  What is the best 2 way radio for the money that Cabelas sells?  I have a ELK hunt coming up, it will be on foot from a drop camp.
Live every day like it was your last, cause someday it will be!!!

don't know what they have, but i always
make a point to make sure that regular
dry cell type batteries can be used .
the last i bought were midlands, and they
came with battery packs and charger, but
after they petered out and wouldn't hold
a charge, i just use regular AAA batteries.

good luck (radios & hunting)
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

Do yourself a favor and get the Rhino 120. Good radio with long range ability, combined with a decent gps unit. It will give you the range and direction to others using the same radio. Could be a life saver ( literally) I use the lithium batterries in mine get better service than the alkalines, and carry a spare set in my day pack, just in case the ones in the unit crap out.
In the 1920's "sheeple" was a term coined by the National Socialist Party in Germany to describe people that would not vote for Hitler. In the 1930's they held Hitler as the only one that would bring pride back to Germany and bring the budget and economy back.....
