short ogive 308 bullets

well have a savage 340 30-30 bolt gun and the clip really limits the use of many of the pointy bulets. The 160 hornady ftx works well but even the 125 grain sierra pro hunter sp is to long to fit in the mag unless seated deap which takes up powder space. any other suggestions in the 125 to 150 range you guys think have a short enough ogive to fit. Other than a standard flat point 30-30 bullet
