shot the 12 gauge ush today

I have owned a 500 s&w handi and i still have a 45-120. Both of them i have shot some stiff loads from. This gun ranks right up there with them. Today i shot some full bore 740 grain slugs over 44 grains of blue dot.  I just got the ush last week and it came with a simmons shotgun scope and cheap noname rings. After about five shots it broke the scope rings where they clamp on base. Time to switch them out and try again. This is one load i wouldnt want to try in a light weight tracker barrel.  The guy who owned it before me must have been shooting some wimpy factory sabots.

i'm interested to know how that works out.
i've been mulling over getting a ush barrel
for my 10, but then i talk my self out of it
thinking about getting set up to load, buying
different powders,etc.

I have had a tracker 2 for a while.  After shooting the ush I have no regrets buying it.

looked at a used tr II a coupla months
ago at a local store. didn't think i'd get
much use out of it and i'm already culling
what hasn't been in the bush lately. don't
need any more doorstops. i had thought
about the ush barrel for scoped use on
the pipeline clearcut.
