shot my 1896 target 6.5x55 rifle today with pmc factory 139gr bullets at 100 yards. i,m impressed, there was a little wing blowing left to right so i left windage alone but lowered the elevation several clicks. with these old eyes and the ex. rear sight i am happy with the rifle,i think i can do better with good reloads. it was a nice day for shooting today. eastbank.

Good shooting! I bet that rifle and caliber comination really does make for an enjoyable day at the range. I'm still searching and dreaming of finding the perfect 6.5x55 rifle. I'm sorta picky so it may be a while before I find the one I want.

Thanks, Dinny
