Contender Custom Shop barrel

If you were considering buying a TC custom shop barrel, and wanted a 357 Maxi, would you order the custom shop maxi chambered barrel or order the 357 magnum and recut the chamber to maxi with the GBO 357 maxi rifle reamer?

Any thoughts, anyone ordered a custom shop 357 maxi?  If so, how did it shoot?

My neighbor has a super 14 .357 mag barrel that he rechambered to a max w/ a reamer that he ordered from brownells (can't remember the manufacturer) & it shoots like a dream. He used a reamer for a rifle chamber not the pistol one w/ forcing cone. It is exceptionally accurate. I have a 12" .44 mag pistol barrel for my encore that I'm thinking about hogging out to a .445 super mag because the guy I got it from managed to put a big gouge in the forcing cone area of the chamber somehow??? I was gonna send it of but since watching him do his max chamber I think ill just order a reamer & have at it. Seems like a good one to practice on beings it's pretty much junk like it is. If you are looking at a custom shop barrel I would just ad a few bucks to the price and get a MGM barrel as they all come with Match grade chambers. My 375 mag barrel from MGM shoots great with no problems.
