Anyone ever had a possum for  pet?

I sort of had a possum for a pet. I traded a parakeet I  got for CHRISTmas for one, and my Mama had a hissy fit.It looked like a good trade to me, but Mom didn't agree.Come to think of it, she was right! We didn't have Parakeets flying around where I grew up, but Possums were everywhere.

Any of 'yall want a possum for a pet, have at it.  You'll get no competition from me.... :-X

Had some frinds who had opposums & Raccoons as pets.
Never my cup of tea. ???

That's a big 'possum. I don't like the idea of wild animals as pets, though. As they say, you can train them but you can't tame them.
