Help with my Gamo Hunter 220
« on: February 09, 2004, 01:05:30 PM »
I just read the Gamo 440 question and apparently it is thought that Gamo isn’t a very good company. But my Gamo Hunter 220 in my thought is unsurpassed in air guns. It has never failed me.  I have around 12000 rounds through it and now it is in need of a spring replacement.  :( But that really is beside the point. My question is about optics. When I got the rifle it came with the BSA .22 special, which is a good scope, but I want to try to find a reasonably priced Light up reticle scope. You know the ones that the crosshairs light up; they are used for low light shooting. Might you folks have any suggestions on what my options might be? There is one on the Gamo home page that is only $30 or so. Is that a good scope? Thanks for the information
The 17 HMR is a hell of a round!!!
